  Each year,  National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) works with communities across the country to organize events in support of the mission to educate people in what it means to Drive Electric.

  These volunteer run events feature EV owners and their cars sharing real world ownership experiences related to daily use, charging and range.  Some events also feature test rides/drives for owners willing to participate.   A few events feature local dealership participation with cars and test drives.

  NDEW events have grown in size and diversity in recent years and have evolved from mostly Tesla's to a broad range of electric vehicles for people to see.   We encourage members interested in sharing their car and personal experiences to sign up for NDEW event(s).

  This is a perfect way to support Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.

• Blue Ridge Parkway EV Weekend 2023

  Join our fellow Tesla Owners Club in a ride and meetup you won't forget. The event weekend is both a ride and an EV show. The events are sponsored by TOC NC Triangle and TOC Western North Carolina.  Our members that have attended in the past have shared how much they enjoyed the event and scenic roads around North Carolina.

  Each year,  National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) works with communities across the country to organize events in support of the mission to educate people in what it means to Drive Electric.

  The Hebert Candy Mansion EVent held in Shrewsbury, MA has become one of the largest NDEW events in New England, showcasing a variety of EV's and giving both current and prospective owners a chance to see a variety of brands and have some fun at the same time.

• Katahdin Woods & Waters Scenic Byway Tesla Rally

  Paul Buckley is organizing a beautiful drive in northern Maine. This drive is not an official club event.

  You may want to consider booking a hotel or campground early while vacancies are still available.

  If you have not already RSVP'd to our e-mail e-vite please RSVP here using e-vite to let us know you're coming and get any last minute event updates.
  

  PAUL'S PLAN:

  1. Meet at Medway supercharger at noon.
  2. Drive north on 95 with Mt. Katahdin view rest stop (20 miles highway).
  3. Continue north on the highway.
  4. Turn south onto scenic Rt 11 at Sherman (25 miles winding road).
  5. Return to the supercharger.

  OPTIONS:

  1. Picnic lunch, stop at Grindstone Falls park on Rt 11.
  2. Continue north to Patten for another magnificent view, grocery shopping, the Lumberman's Museum.
  3. Continue further north towards Baxter State Park Northgate at Matagamon (take notice that the roads are not as nice).
  4. Combine this event with a weekend adventure in Baxter State Park or with other area outdoor activities.

  IMPORTANT NOTE:

  You may not have cell service in the region. Bring your GMRS walkie talkie if you have one. See this link for information on walkie talkies we use on rides.

  The DeLorme Paper Atlas & Gazetteer is available online & in local service stations. You may also want to download google maps for offline use in the area.

  NOTES:
  You are encouraged to explore the area & enjoy outdoor activities.
  Available lodging is limited, so PLAN AHEAD. 

  If traveling north on Rt 1 through Bucksport & the skies are clear, consider a quick stop at the Penobscot Narrows Bridge Observatory.
  They open at 9AM.
  The drive  north to Medway for the rally is about 1.5 hours from there.
