Special Guest - Rafael de Mestre, Electromobility Pioneer

Rafael de Mestre, who visited TOCNE members last July, is back! He is an electromobility pioneer and driver behind the longest standard electric car journey to circumnavigate the globe in 80 days in 2016, with his Tesla Roadster, VIN 507. Rafael has set several world records:

1. Winning the first EV race around the world in a STANDARD all-electric vehicle
2. Being the first man to drive ALONE around the world in an electric car
3. Making the FASTEST electric vehicle circumnavigation around the world ever (80 days)
4. Making the LONGEST drive in a standard electric car (28,282 km/17,570 miles)

This year he is travelling with a family driving a Model S.  Come meet them all at the Burlington Mall Supercharger, 85 Middlesex Turnpike Burlington, MA 01803 at 10 am, this Sunday July 7th 2024.
